Earlier this year, I shared that if it were not for floristry, I wouldn’t be a flower farmer. Tim and I do this farming bit to afford ourselves the resources to operate our floristry service. I love floristry - creating and providing the beauty that flowers offer all those who are in their company is why we are farmers.
In addition to farming for our own floristry service, which is Hawk and Sparrow Flowers, we also provide chemical-free, seasonal flowers to other local florists. We cherish the relationships with these folks who are as passionate about their craft as we are. One such company is The Flower Diva of Pineville, NC.
Pictured is a recent bridal bouquet that Carrie with Flower Diva was commissioned for. We provided the mahogany hibiscus, sedum, and eucalyptus in this amazing bouquet. Carrie called us requesting ‘moody’ flowers and the sedum is spectacular in the center. Another project we helped with this past week was to provide dried flowers for bridesmaid bouquets. The colors were lavender and mustard. We are honored to be trusted by these florists to provide them the tools to create these treasures for peoples’ lives.
