We’ll assume you know and can imagine the toll that a major hurricane can take on a farm. The same it can take on a city and a home. Even those outside of the cone will be affected in a substantial way. Our thoughts this week are with all the farmers who have been, and will be, impacted by Hurricane Ian.
We’d like to encourage those farmers who are experiencing the grief of this storm directly. Most in our area will have a negative impact, but just how damaging won’t be known for a few days as the storm passes. We’re hoping for minimal damage for ourselves, and other local farmers. Many others who took a direct hit will certainly need support and goodwill. We hope they receive it, however we are all able to give it.
Wishing you all safe and well through the weekend.
