The summer has us bubbling with fresh ideas for another season of events to welcome folks to the farm. We love meeting people and connecting over beautiful flowers, which is why we’re thrilled to announce two workshops at the end of July! Attendees will learn the art and skill of floral design in our cooled barn studio here at the farm.
July 23, 2 to 3:30 will feature a gorgeous, terrazzo vase, pictured below (tickets $60).
July 24, 2 to 3:30 will spotlight a grand glass bowl, pictured below, using leaf liner technique (tickets $90).
Both workshop tickets include the tools and supplies needed for the design, generous flowers and foliage for your personal arrangement, and the artfully selected vase. Designs are foam-free and use chicken wire armatures. We’ll have light treats for you, and guests are welcome to bring their own bubbly and bites.
I can’t say enough how much I enjoy teaching the craft of arranging. Learning the techniques behind floral design gives you skills to use again and again to decorate all the moments of your life, adding special touches to everything the way flowers uniquely do. I’m so excited for the workshops and to spend time with friends enjoying the art of arranging.
